JAMLAC would like to welcome our first Colorado Supreme Court Legal Entrepreneurs for Justice Program (LEJ) Pro Bono Resident, Jennaweh Hondrogiannis. LEJ is a program for socially conscious lawyers providing affordable legal solutions to low and middle-income people in Colorado.
Jennaweh is a 2012 graduate of the University of Denver, Sturm College of Law. Jennaweh was an extern for the Colorado Immigrant Rights Coalition and at the Denver Immigration Court (EOIR). She has since represented clients before the Immigration Court in detained and non-detained cases, U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS), the Board of Immigration Appeals, the Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals, the Department of Labor, and recently opened her new immigration law firm Somos Immigration, LLC.
She has studied abroad in Seville, Spain, and Quetzaltenango, Guatemala. She and her husband James own Goody’s Eatery in Westminster. Goody’s was voted best Breakfast by the Denver Post and is known for its green chili! She has three children, a five-year-old daughter named Grace and one-year-old twins named Niko and Amalia.
