JAMLAC Shines at Denver Immigrant Legal Services Fund Fundraiser
JAMLAC’s dedicated team, led by Immigration Director and Co-Founder Sulma Mendoza, had the honor of attending the Denver Immigrant Legal Services Fund Fundraiser last week. This event celebrated the remarkable six-year journey of the Fund, which has already distributed over 2.2 million to expand access to immigration legal services for Denver residents. It was a proud moment for JAMLAC as our very own Eduardo Vazquez, a past beneficiary of this grant, joined the team to share his inspiring story.
Sulma Mendoza, representing JAMLAC, delivered a heartfelt speech highlighting our organization’s mission and the transformative impact of the Fund’s support. With deep gratitude, JAMLAC expressed appreciation for being selected as a speaker and cherished the opportunity to contribute meaningfully to the event. This platform allowed JAMLAC to showcase its commitment to keeping Denver families together and advocate for equitable access to justice for all immigrants. The presence of Eduardo Vazquez, as both a JAMLAC client and a living testament to the Fund’s positive outcomes, further exemplified the power of community support and collaboration. The team returned from the event inspired and motivated to continue their important work in serving vulnerable populations and making a lasting difference in the lives of those in need.
