Over the past year, more than 4,250 lives have been touched through your generosity. Together, we offered legal representation and education to vulnerable immigrants, older adults, and families facing domestic violence and other crises. We strengthened our capacity to stand in the gap—where justice meets mercy.
I think of María, a young mother who came to us after escaping an abusive home. She arrived with nothing but her children and a trembling hope that someone might care. Through JAMLAC, she found not just legal protection, but the assurance that she was seen, valued, and loved. Today, María and her children are safe—and rebuilding their lives.
But the truth is…
The need has doubled — in just three years, the number of people we’ve served has more than doubled, and the calls for help keep coming.
Requests are surging — victims and vulnerable immigrants have legal options — but no one to guide them.
Funding is uncertain —our federal funding has decreased 33%, making it harder for us to respond to the growing demand for legal help.
