Back in 2018, we were all inspired when, after 27 years of being in the United States, Vicky gained her citizenship, GED, and decided to enroll in college. She may have questioned herself along the way, but something or someone motivated her to push forward and break through all obstacles.

Later that year, she started to work at JAMLAC as a receptionist. At 43 years of age, Vicky enrolled in college and after many sacrifices, this month, she earns an Associate Applied Science (AAS) Paralegal degree from CCD! She is now a JAMLAC Paralegal and Workshop Coordinator helping hundreds of people thrive. Every week, Vicky is leaving a footprint with her outstanding contributions to the immigration department and our mission at large. She is an example of overcoming life difficulties, determination, and a proud representation of our immigrant community.
