It’s with a deep sense of pride and fulfillment that we reflect on the success of our recent workshop aimed at assisting new migrants through the CBP1 Humanitarian Parole program. Under this program, migrants who have recently arrived in the United States were given the chance to apply for their Employment Authorization Document (EAD)/work permit, a crucial step in building their new lives here. The words of one of our clients resonate deeply with our team’s purpose: “We want to work, better our lives, and give my son a better future.” This sentiment perfectly encapsulates the hopes and dreams of the 55 individuals we had the privilege of assisting.
Our team’s dedication and hard work paid off spectacularly, as evidenced by the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) processing an astounding 55 applications. This achievement was beyond our expectations and is a testament to the efficiency and organization of our team in the days leading up to the event.
