Here’s are ways to get engaged and help Denver’s migrant community:
Highlands Mommie Group: This local group of mothers offer emergency assistance, housing, food, and helps migrants locate other services. Reach out to their Facebook group to get involved.
Rooted with Roofs: Their mission is to empower and support recent migrants in Denver by providing employment opportunities and sustainable housing. We aim to create a supportive community environment that helps each family unit integrate smoothly into their new community, ensuring they have the resources for long-term stability and success.
Sign up to volunteer at our Workshops: JAMLAC is supporting EAD work authorization clinics for migrants with CBP-1 status. The 3/22 EAD clinic will take place at CrossPurpose located at 3050 Richard Allen Ct., Denver, CO 80205. We are recruiting attorneys and a legal support team as volunteers.
Denver Migrant Help: A large resource for community members to help Venezuelan newcomers in Denver. Go to their website to locate volunteer opportunities and ways to help individual families.
