Volunteers Mobilize to Support JAMLAC Clients Amid Growing Concerns

by | Mar 18, 2025 | Uncategorized

In the past few weeks, more than 40 volunteers have mobilized to update the records of hundreds of JAMLAC clients, ensuring their most recent information is on file. This effort is part of a larger initiative to equip individuals with the legal resources they need, particularly as immigration enforcement concerns grow.

A key milestone in this effort was reached when documents for 45 new clients were mailed out in a single day—a crucial step in safeguarding their rights. Volunteers have also been actively gathering case information and sending legal documents to past and current clients to help them prepare for potential raids or questioning.

As immigration policies continue to shift, access to legal protection can make all the difference. JAMLAC’s volunteer-driven initiatives are ensuring that vulnerable individuals have the support they need in uncertain times.

For those looking to make an impact, volunteering with JAMLAC provides a direct way to assist at-risk communities. The need remains urgent, and every effort helps ensure that no one faces these challenges alone.

Shout out to Tana Findley Padilla, JAMLAC’s Pro Bono Coordinator, for making this initiative possible!
