Our Lunch & Learn Newcomers Crisis was a huge success! These past events have not only educated 110 non-client attendees, underscoring the widespread community interest in immigration issues, but have also sparked meaningful action.
A shining example of this impact is people wanting to volunteer at our workshops and a generous donation of $1,000 from one of our guests to JAMLAC’s programs! Moved by the discussions and her own experiences in assisting Afghan families, this generous guest contribution is evidence of the profound difference individual support can make in our collective mission to aid oppressed people.
